This is why tomorrow is difficult.

It’s difficult because I firmly believe that if Mark Thompson doesn’t decimate the BBC, a government will. This one, the next one. It doesn’t matter. A large part of it will be destroyed either way.

Tomorrow is difficult because it doesn’t actually matter what happens tomorrow. Cos I firmly believe neither side will actually win. The BBC as it is now, will be destroyed one way or other. It may continue to exist, but it’s highly unlikely it will ever be the same again.

And that hurts. It hurts someone who in the years gone by, has put a lot of faith in the organisation – as a viewer, as a listener, and for the last five and a half years, an employee.
