Ladyflash

It’s not often that I talk about albums. That’s not to say I don’t like music – it’s just that when it comes to talking about music I like, I have a complete inability to a) describe the music, b) say why I like it in a coherent and understandable way and c) because ultimately music is something you should hear, not read.

But on this occasion, try I must. For there is one song that I just can’t get enough of since I first heard it on 6music last weekend. Ladyflash by The Go! Team.

It’s a seriously a wonderful little song and I simply can’t get enough of it. Fantastic drums, synth and other random noises, and a great "hey hey hey hey, hey" vocal. Fan-bloody-tastic!

It’s not often that I can sit down and listen to a record repeated four times in a row, again and again and again, and again. BUT IT’S JUST SOOOOO [expletive] GOOD!

But what am I saying? You can’t hear it, and music is something you should hear, not read. Oh, but what’s that? The video is online? Okay, it’s 7meg of QuickTime which and for some reason, Mplayer isn’t playing the audio for me, but I presume it will work on Windows.

Go. Enjoy.
