In August 2010, after doing it over several stages, we finally finished walking the Pennine Way. Whilst I haven't generally blogged much about that particular walk, I decided ending it did deserve a little writing...
Just after Christmas Catherine and myself began to think about our various holiday plans for the next year. The result somehow ended up being a plan that would essentially see me try to complete four long distance paths over the course of 2010.
One of the issues of trying to work out my travel arrangements for Christmas, is always trying to get the right information about what's going on. To be fair, it's not just as Christmas either.
It was our second stint on the Pennine Way, having done a day and a half on it back at the end of March, doing Gargrave to Horton-in-Ribblesdale, whilst also doing some walking around Malham on day one, and a circular walk around Horton on day three.
