Friday 27 November saw BeebCamp 3 hit the BBC - a BBC type unconference run for BBC staff. Lots of people will probably blog about the event far better than I ever could but I'll give it a go.
I like technology. Technology is cool. I like the convenience of my MP3 player. My photos have never been better since I got a digital camera so that I can see what I've taken, and improve instantly. My PVR hoovers up TV programmes and gives them to me in a nice menu.
People might understand a Freeview set top box, but how about a PVR? A TiVo? A Media Center PC? Howabout how a simple games console has become a media centre in the home? And so on. Which is why Auntie runs sessions about such things, and that's where I found myself yesterday afternoon. Not learning about it all - but helping to explain such things to other people.
