Thirteen years ago, in February 2008 I joined Twitter. Since then, Twitter tells me that I have amassed around 55k tweets. If everyone of them was 140 characters (the original Twitter character limit of course), that would be 7.7m characters.

The news that Arcadia Group, owners of brands like Top Shop, Dorothy Perkins, and Burton Menswear, has gone into administration, reminded me of something. Actually it reminded me of many things. But my Top Man chenille roll neck jumper, whilst fantastic, isn't worthy of writing about. The metallic silver trousers, probably are, but that brings about a whole other conversation.

All this homeworking that's suddenly happening has been deemed to be a game-changer by many. Jobs that managers once insisted could only be done in a building, are now being done in peoples kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, or even gardens. These are my predictions of what will happen when all this is over.
