For a long time I made YouTube videos. I enjoyed making YouTube videos. But then I stopped making YouTube videos. For many reasons. But mostly due to them not having a title sequence.

In amongst all the talk of me archiving bits of Planet Bods, I completely forgot to mention the latest addition to my website family - The Good Columbo Guide - an episode guide for the mighty TV show Columbo.
Sorting out some work emails, I randomly hit Outlook's "notes" section. I don't really use the "Notes" section bar for keeping a few bits of regularly used information that... err... I usually don't use. Things like links to Telewest's cable monitoring services which probably stopped working in about 2007, an old live FTP password for the BBC's website and details of how to get the secret, not very well hidden testcard on the BBC Red Button.

One cookery programme firmly with the recession in mind however the recent Economy Gastronomy. Every week, the presenters would pop over to someone's house, try to get them to plan their meals and eat more sensibly.
There was a fundamental problem with BBC One's scheduling of Torchwood: Children of Earth. And that problem was that it was on every single night of last week. It was perfect for the story - of that I cannot deny. However I was out on Wednesday evening and on Thursday evening too. The result was I ended up watching three episodes back to back on Friday evening which was, to be honest, a little on the intense side. It's a rather dark plot after all.
Frankly something now has to be done, because for my mind, if you're going to enter a song contest, you've got to have a chance of winning. And no one in the west now has a chance of winning. I've denied it in the past, but the evidence is now damming.
