Funny the things you find, isn't it? Whilst looking through some old folders, looking for bad poetry to astound you with, I found something far better. A batch of cartoons I drew back in 1996!
Saw the wonderful Shaun of the Dead yesterday, which for those of you who don't know is a romantic comedy. With zombies.
Whilst at Borough Market yesterday, Catherine spotted Sue Perkins - probably best known as one half of comedy double act Mel and Sue, and less well known as host of Radio 4's The 99p Challenge.
The demise of fashion retailer Boo.com was one of the great dot-com crashes if all time. It went down in such a blaze that the entire world must have known what happened. It symbolised not only the successes of the dot.com industry, but also everything that was wrong with it in the late 1990s. As such, I was interested to find out more, and a chance purchase of the book, Boo Hoo, written by Boo.com's former CEO Ernst Malmsten looked like it might be an interesting read.
It's July. It's hot. There's a tent in the park. It must be the Ealing Comedy Festival.
Magnolia is apparently 'astonishing' and 'powerful'. Personally I thought it was too long and a bit dull.
